ALZAHRA Organization
ALZAHRA was originally established in Afghanistan in 2009 through the creation of the first women’s sport complex and one of the first women-led sport organizations in the country.
From 2009 to 2015, ALZAHRA became a recognized organization promoting women’s sport, health, leadership, entrepreneurship, and community development across Afghanistan.
Following relocation to Canada, the work continued under ACSA Cultural & Sport Association from 2019 to 2026.
During this period, the organization successfully implemented more than 40 projects supporting women, youth, immigrants, refugees, seniors, and newcomer communities through sport, wellness, entrepreneurship, arts, leadership development, and social inclusion.
In 2026, the organization officially rebranded as ALZAHRA Sport International Society to reconnect with its original identity and expand internationally.
